The Houses on the Block
THE HOUSES OF THE 300 BLOCK OF PARK AVENUE
The Knott House is located at 301 East Park Avenue, at the corner of Park Avenue and Calhoun Street. Here is a look at some of the houses on the same block in the late 1800s and how they appear today.
Chittenden House, 1882
R.A. Shine built this house in the late 1830s. F.H. Flagg became the next owner around 1847. In 1894, the Chittenden family acquired and remodeled it, adding the second story.
