Located on SR 85 (Lewis Turner Parkway) near SR 189 and the west gate of Eglin Air Force Base.

Founded in 1985 on Eglin Air Force Base, this facility’s mission is to exhibit and interpret the military history of Eglin and the Armed Forces in general. To that end, over fifteen acres of outdoor exhibit area in addition to the 28,000 square foot museum building are utilized. World War II related exhibits include a P-51 Mustang , B-17 Flying Fortress, B-25 Mitchell, P-47 Thunderbolt, and a replica of the first V-1 “Buzz Bomb.”
