Grapefruit Trade Sign
Florida is the number one producer of grapefruit in the world. The first grapefruit grove was planted near Tampa Bay in the 1800s by Count Odet Phillippe. Today, Florida’s citrus industry still emphasizes the health benefits of the fruit, including vitamin C, vitamin A, potassium, and dietary fiber.
