Exit 19 from Florida's Turnpike, right (west) on 120 to 137th Avenue, left on 137th Avenue to 128th Avenue, right on 128th Avenue into Tamiami Airport.
Founded in 1987, the Wings Over Miami Museum displays and flies military and classic aircraft to share the history of flight by providing examples of operating historic aircraft. Aircraft on display from the WWII period include a P-40 Warhawk, an AT-6 Texan, and a Stearman Kaydet primary trainer. Many of the aircraft are maintained in flying condition.
Annual activities include a B-17 Flying Fortress and a B-24 Liberator bomber display in February and Memorial Day and Veteran's Day events.
