DIRECTIONS
Exit I-95 at Gatlin Boulevard (Exit 63) and proceed east to Port St. Lucie Boulevard. Turn left to Midport Road. At Midport Road, turn left and travel approximately one half mile to Veterans Memorial Park on left (across from U.S. Post Office).
Dedicated April 23, 1995, this award-winning memorial serves to honor all veterans of all times. Utilizing a “fortress-like” design in the shape of a pentagon, each tip contains the flag and emblem of one of the five military services. Within the interior of the pentagon is located a raised seating area and a concrete podium, adjacent to which is the American Flag. In April 2002, the Treasure Coast Chapters of the Merchant Marine and the U.S. Navy Armed Guards placed a special memorial to their comrades along The Walk of Dignity within the park.
