DIRECTIONS
To reach Fantasy of Flight, use Exit 21 from I-4 and proceed north one-half mile on SR-559 and turn left to the attraction's entrance. The facility's red and white checkerboard water tower is easily seen from I-4.
Developed by aerobatics competitor and aircraft designer Kermit Weeks, the collection at Fantasy of Flight includes several classic WWII era aircraft. Of particular interest are the P-51 Mustang, the Corsair F4U, the B-24 Liberator, and the B-26 Martin Marauder.
Flight simulators allow visitors to experience the sensation of piloting a F4U Corsair and other WWII aircraft in combat conditions over the South Pacific. Back Lot and Restoration Tours are also available.
Annual activities include the late March/early April “Mustangs and Mustangs” event. This occasion features restored P-51 Mustang fighters and Ford Mustang automobiles. The “Wings & Strings” event is presented each Veteran’s Day Weekend and includes over fifty vintage aircraft on display.
