Exhibits
The Museum of Florida History explores over 12,000 years of Florida History. Through our permanent exhibits, you can stand next to the skeleton of a mastodon; walk through a recreated early native dwelling, Spanish ship, fort, and house; navigate among maritime treasures; visit a citrus packing house; travel aboard a recreated steamboat, and see and hear the experiences of Florida's World War II soldiers and families on the home front.
The Museum also features temporary exhibits that explore a variety of subjects might include anything form Florida's art to its industries, maritime history, and tourism.
We also offer the TREX program, which features exhibits designed to travel and to bring Florida history to life in your community. These affordable exhibits were produced by the Museum of Florida History and are available to educational and cultural institutions nationwide.
