State Birds and Flowers

On April 14, 1982, the US Post Office issued a full pane of stamps showing the official birds and flowers for each of the fifty states in the nation. Florida’s official bird is the mockingbird, and its official flower is the orange blossom as seen on the stamp and cacheted cover.
