Heddon Fishing Lures
The Heddon Company of Dowagiac, Michigan, made these lures. James Heddon founded the company. His son William moved to Florida to develop and test new lures. Heddon lures were popular with Florida fishers. The lures from top to bottom are: Minnow (ca. 1905–20s); Luny Frog (ca. 1920s–30s); and Crazy Crawler (ca. 1950s–60s). The Museum displayed these lures in its 2014 exhibit, The Lure of Florida Fishing.
