FSU Football Helmet
This Florida State University football helmet was given to former Governor Jeb Bush (1999–2007) by FSU Head Coach Bobby Bowden (1976–2009). Bowden wrote on the helmet, “To Jeb B., If in need of a friend, refer to me personally!” Often, an outgoing governor will contribute a few of the gifts received while in office to the Museum of Florida History. Governor Bush donated this helmet, along with a number of other objects, to the Museum shortly before he left office. (Collection of the Museum of Florida History)
