Inaugural Ball Gown
Mary Call Darby Collins wore this gown to festivities celebrating the inauguration of her husband, LeRoy Collins, as Florida’s thirty-third governor in 1957. The gown is made of magnolia taffeta, trimmed in coffee-colored Chantilly lace. It was designed by top New York City fashion designer Rosalie Macrini, known for her evening gowns.
