Acc. no. 2021M.012.118
Tony Accetta began his business in Ohio in the 1930s, but spent much time in Florida fishing and testing his lures on Lake Worth near Palm Beach. He moved his operation to nearby Riviera Beach in 1956, and the company, Tony Accetta and Son, Inc., built a lure manufacturing plant. By the time of the move, Acetta was semi-retired and his son ran most of the operation. However, Accetta remained involved and continued to test lures for the company into the 1960s.
