Acc. no. 2021M.012.025
Earl Robinson started the Robinson Bait Company. He began making hand-carved lures in Apopka in the mid-1920s. They had a somewhat
folk art appearance. He later moved to Orlando and refined his lure making process, but also limited his lure making to two types of lures, the Orlando Shiner and the Best Yet Popper. The lure on the left is from Robinson’s “Folk Art” period. The lure on the right is a Best Yet Popper.
