Mark your calendar to unwind at the Museum of Florida History on the 3rd Thursday of every month.
A palette for all your senses, 3rd Thursday is a great way to experience Florida history. Come and listen to great live music, meet local artists, mingle with an eclectic mix of people, and enjoy cultural happenings in Tallahassee.
3rd Thursday Programs offer an opportunity to visit the Museum of Florida History in the evening once a month. The program, music, and parking are free. A local restaurant caters the event for $10 for members and $15 for nonmembers. Florida's History Shop is also open until 8:00 p.m.
Hispanic Heritage Celebration
Join the Museum for an entire evening celebrating Hispanic Heritage with, wine tasting, live music, a dance lesson and more! Admission, parking and the program are all free! Wine tasting, appetizers, and live music from 5:30 to 8:00 p.m. •Live music by the Carlos Odria Trio •Latin dance lessons with the Azúcar Dance Company of Florida State University •Introduction to Latin American wines with Whole Foods Market •"The Rise of Latin Music in the US and Florida: From the Peanut Vendor to the Miami Sound Machine" presented by Dr. Tim Storhoff •Drawing for a gift basket of wine and treats from Whole Foods Market. *Tickets for the drawing are available for all current, new, and renewing members of the Friends of the Museums of Florida History, Inc.
