June 27 - Stories from Behind the Scenes

Come learn about the creation of some of the most memorable Museum of Florida History exhibits. "Stories from Behind the Scenes" features former exhibit designers, fabricators, and curators discussing how these exhibits came together. You are welcome to buy a lunch from The Egg Express or bring your own. Program will be held in the Gallery for Innovation and the Arts in the R.A. Gray Building.

July 25 - Who Was R.A. Gray?

Come learn about the interesting life of R.A. Gray, Florida's longest-serving Secretary of State and namesake of the building that houses several divisions of the Florida Department of State. You are welcome to buy a lunch from The Egg Express or bring your own. Program will be held in the Gallery for Innovation and the Arts in the R.A. Gray Building.

August 22 - An 1890s “Trolley Ride” Through Downtown Tallahassee

Join Tallahassee Historical Society past president David Lang for a trip back in time to 1890s Tallahassee to discover what downtown looked like more than 120 years ago. You are welcome to buy a lunch from The Egg Express or bring your own. Program will be held in the Gallery for Innovation and the Arts in the R.A. Gray Building

Explore summer book themes with hands-on activities at the Museum of Florida History on the following Wednesdays at 10:30 a.m. Each program will feature special guests from local historic sites.

June 28 - Lighthouses and Ships
July 5 - Homes and Houses
July 12 - Capitol Buildings
July 19 - Conservation and Preservation
July 26 - Communities

The program and parking are free. Chaperones are required. Individual reservations are not required.
