Kazuko Law

Kazuko Law (1929–) learned to make temari from her great-grandmother in her native Japan. Temari are colorfully stitched balls in decorative and complex patterns. Law also studied the tea ceremony, origami, Japanese dance, and Japanese doll making. Since moving to Gulf Breeze, Florida, she has taught these traditional arts in the Pensacola area. She received a Florida Folk Heritage Award in 1996.
